I was so excited when Shelley told me she wanted to do something more urban for her bridal portraits. I always love the beautiful, flower-filled locations we usually use for bridals, but it was so much fun to do something different! I love the juxtaposition of the beautiful bride in the middle of the downtown Elkin scenery.
We shot Sarah's bridals back in May at the Hinshaw Gardens in Yadkinville, NC. I've been procrastinating with my blogging, so I'm trying to play catch-up before the fall weddings start up!
Sarah and Sam were married at Mt. Pleasant Church in State Road, NC, followed by a Hawaiian themed reception at Cedarbrook Country Club in Elkin. Lots of bright, fun colors were used and the wedding was a blast!

Megan and Westley's wedding was held on June 13th, 2009. The weather was gorgeous and the bright pink wedding colors looked so beautiful and summery.
